Neuromuscular therapy involves alternating levels of concentrated pressure on the areas where there is muscle spasm.This process tends to relax the muscle, which then releases the lactic acid and allows the muscle to start receiving enough blood and oxygen. The goal of Neuromuscular Therapy is to bring about balance between the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system.
